Visit by Adelaide University Deputy Vice-Chancellor
Special guest at Formal Dinner on Monday 28th May was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President of the University of Adelaide, Professor Pascale Quester.
In introducing Professor Quester to the students and academic staff of the College, the Rector described her as “one of South Australia’s most senior, respected and progressive academics”.
Brother Michael highlighted the DVC’s commitment to global education and the range of initiatives for enhancing the student learning experience that she has led at the University since first joining it in 1991.
In her engaging address to the College, Professor Quester urged students to be open to the opportunities and even surprises that a university education can create for them, and to be open to global possibilities in that may unfold in their lives and careers may.
The DVC was thanked by Student Club President, Eliza Boulton, who expressed her appreciation not only for Professor Quester’s visit to Aquinas, but also her commitment to developing closer integration of purpose with all the colleges.
