Mentor Pilot Program
2017 marks the start of a pilot program to provide mentors for our senior students, who are close to completing their degrees.
The call was sent out to both current students and to Old Collegians who would be interested in being a part of the inaugural program. The response has been very encouraging, with 13 students wanting to be part of the program, while 6 Alumni (from various years and fields) have also expressed interest.
The idea behind the Mentor program is to not only reconnect our Alumni with the College, but more-so to allow students the opportunity to network in their chosen field, with someone who has an immediate point of commonality, that being, having lived at Aquinas.
Each pair are asked to meet on at least 4 occasions, the first being over dinner at College, with the next 3 meetings being at their convenience. Presently we have mentors in the fields of Business, Education and Allied Health. Anyone who is interested in joining the program at a later date is encourage to contact Carolyn Mee on firstname.lastname@example.org
