August 6, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:00 pm on Monday and Wednesday, repeating until September 12, 2018
It is a condition of membership of Aquinas College that all students are required to attend all Formal Dinners held on Mondays and Wednesdays during University term time, unless excused by the Rector or the Dean.
Students are to wear academic gowns and dress neatly for formal meals. Men are to wear a shirt with a collar. The use of mobile phones during dinner is not allowed.
Students are to be seated in the dining room by 6pm, are to stand silently for the formal procession and remain standing for Grace. Formal dinner ends with Thanksgiving and the exiting procession.
The Dining Room is a place marked by conviviality, companionship and courtesy. All students are expected to show consideration for all members who are dining and for the kitchen and serving staff as well. Students are encouraged to mix at meals, and not restrict themselves to small or single-gender cliques.
Crockery, cutlery and glasses must not be removed from the dining room or kitchen (fines will apply if items are removed).
Only alcohol provided by the College can be consumed in the Dining Room.
