An event every year that begins at 12:00 am on of November, repeating indefinitely
Remembrance Day is a memorial day observed in Commonwealth of Nations member states since the end of the First World War to remember the members of their armed forces who have died in the line of duty. This day is commemorated because the guns of the Western Front fell silent at 11 am on 11 November 1918 after more than four years of continuous warfare. In November, the Germans called for an armistice (suspension of fighting) in order to secure a peace settlement. They accepted allied terms that amounted to unconditional surrender.
