HTC Football finishes on strong note
Aquinas finished with both its women’s and men’s football teams as finalists in the last round of HTC sport, after respective semi final wins against Flinders.
Played on Sunday, 27th May, the Aquinas Women’s XVIII ran away with a decisive eight-goal victory over St Ann’s College to retain the cup, while the Aquinas men fought out a tight tussle in slippery conditions against St Mark’s to finish as Runners-Up for 2018. Both games were played in front of a large and spirited band of Aquinian supporters.
An enjoyable presentation dinner and social evening organised by the Student Club marked the end of this year’s football campaign.
