Netball Success!
Aquinas teams proved the most successful college in this year’s fiercely contested HTC netball competition, reaching both the men’s and the women’s finals on the evening of 9 August.
The Aquinas men’s team prevailed against St Ann’s College while the women finished as runner’s up in a see-sawing game against Flinders Hall.
It was the 14th year in succession that the Aquinas men’s team had returned home with the cup, delighting the team coach and Student Club President, Eliza Boulton.
“We put in a lot of training and planning for this competition,” said Eliza. “The boys deserve full credit for their sharp skills and smart tactics.”
The results of the netball mean some crowding at the top of the 2018 HTC Table. With Basketball and Soccer yet to be played this term, all results will be important.
