Large numbers for Parents’ Weekend
Parents travelled from as far as Broken Hill, Walgett, Cairns and Darwin to join others from all parts of South Australia for the annual Parents’ Weekend on 18/19 May.
The Rector’s Cocktail Reception on the Saturday evening was attended by over sixty people, allowing parents to catch up over a drink with College staff and other parents.
Speaking at the function, the Rector expressed his appreciation to so many for making the trip to Adelaide for the weekend.
“Such occasions allow us to get to know each other better, and so our care for the young people in our care can be enhanced,” said Brother Michael.
The Rector took the occasion to thank parents for their support of Aquinas, and all the staff (both the full-time professional staff and the student staff) for all they do to make Aquinas the special place that it is.
