A mega month ahead
August was shaping up as perhaps the most packed month of the year, Brother Michael told students at the first Formal Dinner of the semester last week.
Academically, socially, in sport, and also in community service there was plenty on the College calendar in the next few weeks.
The term ahead sees Academic Panels for first-year students, Progress Review Panels for seniors, Faculty Nights, the annual Men’s and Women’s Forums, Music Night, the Winter Sleepout, the Ball, the Exec Dinner, the Open Days, HTC Basketball, Volleyball and Soccer, as well as regular weekly events.
‘One of the most attractive aspects of the collegiate experience is the huge array of opportunity there is for involvement and connection,’ said Brother.
The Rector urged students to embrace all that was on offer, and advised them of the need to be organised and balanced.
