Archbishop welcomes new Aquinians
The Catholic Archbishop of Adelaide, Patrick O’Regan, welcomed new and returning Aquinians, as well as a large number of parents, at the annual Welcome Service on Sunday 19 February. Examining what it is to be human, the Archbishop challenged Aquinians to fully explore this concept and to embrace it.
The induction of new students into the Aquinas silver heart as members of the nearly 75 year old Aquinas family was again a moving and special moment in the service.
A beautiful luncheon followed the Service, attended by approximately 400 students and parents.
A highlight of the day was a the Welcome to Country on the Montefiore Lawns, followed by the traditional Fresher Photo.
