Christmas message from the Rector

2023 was a year to remember! After seven long years, we finally returned the HTC Trophy to the top of the hill!

To our Freshers, Juniors and Seniors that are leaving, the College will always remember your contributions and talents – whether it was leadership, sporting, musical , cultural, spiritual or social. Good luck and remember to shine bright and do your best in your future endeavours. Please stay connected through the Alumni Association and remember our 75th Anniversary takes place in 2025!

To those returning, we look forward to your continued support of the College in 2024.  Enjoy time with your family and loved ones and make many memories over the summer break!

As another year ends, we want to thank you for supporting Aquinas College.

During the past year, our Aquinas families, Council, Alumni, Staff and Students, have contributed, supported and dedicated their time to this special community.Providing our students (past and present) with quality services and opportunities has been our priority, and we look forward to doing it all again in 2024.

It has been an absolute pleasure to watch our students learn, grow and flourish. Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year! Lucere et Ardere! Go Wolves!

On a more serious note, as I reflect on the frivolity of my message this year,I appreciate how lucky so many of us are to have the luxury of reminiscing on the fun and joy experienced by us in 2023, and the opposite reflection that so many people in Australia and the world will be having. Let us appreciate our good fortune and think about those suffering this Christmas whether from mental health struggles, financial burdens, loneliness, bereavement,ill-health and further afield, the suffering of those innocent humans struggling in so many countries ravaged by war, and ensure that we all say a prayer for love and peace this Christmas, God knows it is needed.

God bless.
