HTC Debating saw Aquinas win for a second year
Debating over two nights, 30 April and 2 May, the Aquinas Debating team excelled.
The team, consisting of Kirsten Rolt, Eddie Grover, Jimmy Gourley, Matt Phelps, Esther Juebner, Oliver Corfield, Maeve Bylsma and Deniz Karakaya, performed exceptionally well.
Tricky topics were debated with elegance and skill by all the Aquinas debaters, losing only one of the four round-robin debates against the other Colleges.
A special shout-out to the Aquinas students attending to support our debaters. Lincoln College was swamped with red, white and black!
A back-to-back win with Aquinas retaining the Debating Cup certainly rewarded the army of supporters.
