Temperatures soared in O’Week as did the fun
Temperatures climbed in Adelaide during the week, as did the energy and participation by all Aquinians in the multitude of activities on offer. The many weeks of planning and co-operation between the leadership teams: all Staff, House Coordinators, Student Club, Campus Ministry Team and the Academic Team combined to deliver an energized week of fun and information. The hard work and imagination of all the contributors in the planning and execution of O’Week contributed to the success.
The Student Club President, Grace Moloney was thrilled with how successfully the week went and how quickly the Freshers have settled into the College. According to Grace,” The friendliness and welcoming Aquinas spirit displayed by all the returning students, remembering how nervous they felt when they first came to Aquinas, was really on show during O’week. This made such an impact on the Freshers and clearly helped in making them all feel at home from the beginning.”
