NAAUC Conference

In early July, six current students and the College Dean, travelled to Sydney to attend the annual NAAUC Conference (National Association for Australian University Colleges). The program offered seven full days of amazing guest speakers, seminars, workshops and social activities, all designed to give students an understanding of “best practice” within their own college.

This year’s theme was “Share the Story, Shape the Future.” There is a growing recognition in the importance of social, emotional, philanthropic and leadership development being achieved in residential communities around the country which compliments the intellectual development occurring at University.

NAAUC affirms and builds on this ideology to help develop and empower young leaders with the skills to stride confidently into the next phase of their lives.

Aquinas College were proud to have Stella Cox (our Student President), Sally Terrett, Michelle Whillas, Eliza Boulton, Emma Lee and Hamish Peberdy representing us at the conference.
