Tutorials flourish under Duel Leadership

In 2016 Aquinas College appointed two senior tutors, Danika Spilsbury from Loxton and Patrick Bush from Horsham.  Under their leadership the Tutorial programme has flourished and is providing excellent support to the College students.  Building on the wonderful work done by the 2015 Senior Tutor, Jordan Wray from Port Lincoln, Danika and Patrick have analysed the needs of the present students and provided tutorials in almost all areas of study.  They have expanded the College Library, identified new computer programmes, invited guest speakers and encouraged a team approach by the Tutors who meet regularly to share ideas and to support each other.   Most of the tutors are leading academic students of the College who have been invited to tutor in their subjects.  There are also a number of tutors from outside the College community.  The tutorials held within the College provide added support to the ones at the universities.

The following students have been appointed as Tutors:  Sarah Wedding (Port Lincoln) as the Law Tutor; Tim Richens (Port Pirie) Occupational Therapy; Sarah Parnanzini  (Port Augusta) Primary and Middle Education;  Jayce Golding (Loxton) Secondary Education;  Alycia Close (Mount Gambier) Human Anatomy; Emma Lee (Canberra) Chemistry and Human Biology; Sarah Broadhead (Mildura) and Dana Rowbottom (Port Augusta) Human Physiology; Makenzie Franks (Port Lincoln) and Danika Spilsbury (Loxton) Nursing; Rebekah Kraft (New Zealand) French;  Nathan Forrest (Mildura) and Ben Snell (Mount Gambier) Engineering; Alex Trevisan (Port Augusta) Information Technology;  Sophie Fox (Mildura)  Commerce; Georgie Ryan (Port Lincoln)  Biology; Sarah Rigby (Mildura) and Patrick Bush (Horsham) Accounting and Commerce; Jordan Wray (Port Lincoln) Maths and Physics; Ignatius Rudd (Torquay) along with Liam Ryan (Warrnambool)  Medicine;  Isabella Ghidinelli-Matheson (Mildura) Dentistry; Sam Daw (Port Augusta) Human Movement; Hannah Kroemer (Loxton) Pharmacology;  Lauren Dinning (Mundulla) Journalism; Joseph Brooks (Millicent) Construction Management; Tim Manning (Port Augusta) Motor Control and Learning and Matthew Seals (Murray Bridge) Psychology.
