Successful Open Days

Over the weekend of Saturday, 19th August 2017 and Sunday, 20th August 2017 the College hosted the annual Open Days held in conjunction with the university open days held at the same time.

Throughout the course of the two days our House Coordinators worked in shifts to be available to meet and greet the prospective students and their families, giving informative insight into their pivotal roles, particularly when students are new to College.

Students had also volunteered to offer tours and cheerfully escorted more than 200 people throughout the campus, not only showing them the various room types, common areas and facilities but explaining life at Aquinas from their own perspective.

On Sunday, Will manned the joint College residential stand at Adelaide University with Khalil offering assistance for the afternoon. Meanwhile, in the afternoon Lachie  drove the mini bus and ferried families from the university grounds to the residential colleges in North Adelaide.

Our sincere thanks to our wonderful HC leaders, Dylan, Emma, Matt, Maddie, Maddie T, Nic D, Nick H, Olivia, Sean and Steph for their efforts.

The students who were our guides were outstanding and great ambassadors so thank you to Kenidee, Stephen, Hamish Probert, Tim, Josephine, Tom and Kiara who worked on Saturday and thank you to Tahnee, Jayce, Mardi, Morgan F, Carlie, Hannah M, Ben W, Fletcher and Michelle for working on Sunday.

The tours generated much positive response and those considering 2018 residency at Aquinas are strongly urged to submit an application.  If you were unable to take advantage of the Open days, you are always welcome to contact the College on 8334 5001 or email and a tour of the campus can be arranged.
