Collegiate Dinner celebrates high-achievers

The Archbishop of Adelaide, Patrick O’Regan, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor & Vice-President (Academic)from the University of Adelaide, Jennie Shaw, the Executive Director of CESA, Dr Neil McGoran, College Council members and special guests from other Colleges joined the staff and students of Aquinas to welcome the commencement of Semester Two and to congratulate students who achieved Distinctions and High Distinctions in Semester One.

Academic Director,Dr Sarah Moller, in summarising the results of Aquinas Students proudly announced that three-quarters of students attained a Credit average or higher, one-third of students a Distinction average or higher and 56% of students had a GPA of 5 or over.

Education: Elise Horstmann
Engineering: Wil Vaughan
Nursing: Chelsea Hawkins
Science: Lily Lawrence
Allied Health: Kimjoline Dunham
Business and Commerce: Luke Donohue
Medicine & Veterinarian Science: Montana Foster

Lily Lawrence, with 4 High Distinctions, was awarded the two major awards of the evening  The Father J.M. McInerney Scholarship  for the Top First Year student in Semester One and The Father Michael Scott Scholarship for the best results in Semester One.
