High Table Cup Hockey brings us a win and a second place
Over the last few years, HTC Hockey has been played in Antarctic-like conditions, and so to play on a sunny Winter’s day was a little unnerving for all Colleges.
The Women’s Team had two high-scoring wins first up, and so when they encountered St Mark’s, were out of rhythm to play defensively. A couple of quick goals by the opposition threw the Aquinas Women. Thankfully they then settled and managed to narrow the margin, however not enough to claim the win. A final win gave Aquinas Women second place overall in the HTC Hockey.
The Men’s team went out hoping for back-to-back HTC victories and did not disappoint, scoring a clean sweep.
