HTC Netball

Despite cold and rainy conditions throughout the day, the Aquinas Women’s and Men’s Netball Teams shone through the day.

Women’s Team

Allocated the bye in Round 1, the team got off to a strong start in Round 2 with a win against Flinders. The Women continued their campaign against Lincoln in Round 3 and St Ann’s in Round 4, building confidence and momentum heading into the final match of the day.

The most anticipated game was undoubtedly the clash against St Mark’s. With a fantastic atmosphere surrounding the court, both teams battled hard from the start. Aquinas took control early, leading 10–5 at half-time thanks to strong defensive pressure from Amelie Doyle and Sophie Warren, gaining a number of intercepts, and accurate shooting from both Macey Griffith and Summer Smith. With a strong midcourt led by Bailey Hahn, Millie Kuhne and Aida Natale. St Mark’s fought back in a highly competitive second half, but Aquinas held strong and worked tirelessly to win by 2 goals.

The entire squad demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, commitment, and teamwork throughout the day and in the lead-up weeks.  The HTC Netball Cup comes back to the top of the hill in 2026!

Congratulations to the boys on their win! Netball Double’ 2026
