New Head of College announced

Dear Members of the Aquinas College Community

I write to let you know that the Provincial leader of the Marist Brothers has asked me to take on a different appointment for next year at the Catholic Teachers’ College in Baucau, East Timor, and I will move there in early February 2018.

Br Jordan Redden will also be leaving Aquinas and will transfer to the Brothers’ community at Sacred Heart College. He has been at Aquinas for the past twelve years and has been a positive and cheerful presence to staff and students.

Archbishop Wilson has appointed Br Michael Green as the new Head of Aquinas College and he will commence duties in mid-January. Br Mark Paul will also be here at Aquinas as Chaplain. Both Brothers have extensive experience in education and I am sure that they will make a substantial contribution to Aquinas.

I am grateful for the four years that I have been at the College and it has been a pleasure for me to work with our students. It has been so satisfying to see them grow into mature, capable and confident young men and women during their time at Aquinas and to form friendships for life.

Thank you for your tremendous support of the College and it is my hope that Aquinas will continue to be a beacon of light on the top of Montefiore Hill and a home for many future generations of University students. May you be blessed with a safe and happy Christmas, as we celebrate the birth of Jesus.

Best wishes

Br Paul Gilchrist
