Wedding Joy for Ellie Gould

Aquinian Ellie Gould married Tait Nottle on 28th March 2026, at Hughes Park, Watervale, surrounded by friends and family. Ellie took a moment to reflect on where life has taken her since she first moved to Aquinas in 2019.

Moving to Aquinas College from the South East in 2019, I truly did not know what to expect. Looking back however, I am so incredibly grateful for every opportunity that I was presented with. College pushed me outside of my comfort zone, whilst providing lifelong friendships and memories.

Life after College has been beautifully crazy. After three incredible years at Aquinas, I spent a further two years in Adelaide completing my Honours in Secondary Education while working at St Patrick’s Special School. It was there that I discovered a passion for disability education and knew I wanted to pursue this within my teaching career.

Upon completing my degree, it was time to close my chapter of Adelaide living. Although it was such an important chapter in my life that brought so many incredible opportunities and memories, I felt it was time to return to country living. At the beginning of 2024, I made the move from Adelaide to my partner’s farm on the Yorke Peninsula. I began working at Kadina Memorial School across a range of subject areas before moving into my own HUB classroom in 2025, supporting students with disabilities to access learning within a specialised setting.

2024 was a year of challenge and adjustment, adapting to many life changes, but it was also incredibly special — with Tait proposing at the end of the year while we were on holidays. We were married on the 28th March this year at Hughes Park, Watervale surrounded by our closest friends and family. This included Aquinians, Shyla Lange (Maid of Honour), Gorgia Robbie (Bridesmaid), Catherine Walsh, Hannah Burns, Emma Livingstone and Ella Kain. All of our friendships were strengthened from our time spent at Aquinas together.
