About the role

Aquinas College, a beautiful residential College in North Adelaide, SA, is seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. Depending on the successful candidate, flexibility is offered as to whether this position is Casual, Part Time or Full Time.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality meals for our students and staff over a 7-day roster
• Ensuring strict adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
• Working collaboratively with our friendly catering team to deliver exceptional dining experiences
• Assisting in menu planning and recipe development of weekly menus
• Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

What we’re looking for

• Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Chef, preferably in a school or institutional setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities as well as being able to work independently
• Experience in preparing bulk dishes, also baking and pastry an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability with various cuisines and techniques
