Collegiate Dinner celebrating our Academic Achievements

The Collegiate Dinner and Awards Ceremony to celebrate the results of high-achieving students from Semester 2, 2025 was held on Friday 20 February. Special guests joining students and staff at the Collegiate Dinner included the Head of South Australian Catholic Schools Commision, Mr John Neate and his wife Tina, SA Director of Catholic Education SA, Dr Neil McGoran, and his wife Michelle, Partner School representative Ms Jo Court from St Mark’s Port Pirie, Aquinas College Councillors, Chair of Council Ms Joanne Sawyer, Deputy Chair Ms. Kate Critchley and Council members, Mr. Vincent Kain and Mr Damien Judd.

Faculty Prizes went to Chelsea Hawkins (Nursing), Samuel Menadue (Engineering), Maeve Bylsma (Medicine), Ashlee Cooper ( Commerce), Macey Sanders and Alice Tentye (Allied Health), Lily Lawrence (Science), Aden Clarke ( Law) and Ava Norman (Education)

Special Prizes were presented as follows:

Fr Michael Scott Prize for the top returning junior: Eddie Moresi

Brother Austin Stephens Prize: top returning senior: Chelsea Hawkins

Father C.P. Finn Prize for top returning fourth year student: Max Sturman

Aquinas Medal and Bessie Greenland prize: Lily Lawrence

 

Whilst the Academic Awards were a feature of the evening, the special Partner School Scholarships were a great recognition for those students from Partner Schools who had achieved the top ATARS at their School. We congratulate the following students:

Macey Badcock from Caritas College

Mia Perry from Samaritan College

Mitchell Court from St Mark’s College

Jolie Vaughan from Tenison Woods College.
