Aquinas College is a community where safety is our priority. Through our family culture, our House structure, our staff, our student leaders and our program of events, we strive to ensure that students feel safe and supported at all times.
Students joining the College participate in extensive training in behavioural expectations, inclusive practices, healthy and respectful relationships, consent and the importance of reporting. The College has partnered with RespectX to ensure students have the option of reporting negative behaviour anonymously and receiving the highest level of follow up support.
Aquinas College welcomes the introduction of the National Higher Education Code to Prevent and Respond to Gender-Based Violence (2025). Across our organisation, in partnership with our affiliated tertiary providers – Adelaide University and Flinders University – we are committed to providing a safe environment for our students, staff and visitors, where relationships are built on respect.
In keeping with the requirements of the Code, the College’s Whole of Organisation Gender-Based Violence Prevention and Response Plan and Outcomes Framework can be found here: Aquinas College Whole of Organisation Plan 2025
